One night at a lounge/club/bar/whatever, in downtown SF, I caught my friends set and happened to have my camera with me. I found the happenstance to be an excerise in low light exposure without a flash. Remembering my wedding photographer days, I found myself relying on the flash less and less during the receptions; which are usually in lighting conditions similar to any club or venue. At the time began to experiment because the aesthetic conventionally achieved by flash photography, in such situations, gets old.
