Who Is My Competition?

As a photographer, my competition is not other photographers.
My competition is marketing noise—Filler photography and video that looks like 99% of everyone else's content.

Why? Because it doesn't work.

Uninspired content is desperate for attention. It does more harm than good in terms of growth and differentiation because it looks like everyone else's.

If you want to grow a brand or audience at lightspeed, you need art that leads in the space where you operate.

The result? Becoming an admired authority in the community that will give you their loyal, undivided attention.

Expensive? Effective photoshoots cost much less than ineffective ones.

How? Partner with a photographer to translate your brand's goals, values, and vision into unique brand photography.
I often refer my clients to my colleagues when I feel they are a better fit for a project. Like I said, other photographers are not my competition.

Speaking for myself, my brand photoshoots are organized around at least one of the following goals:

-Inspire change.
-Fortify authority.
-Establish emotional connections.
-Elevate brand perception.
-Differentiate from the competition.
-Expand & grow into new markets, spaces, and audiences.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.
